Never Too Much of a Good Thing LinQ, Aude, Black Hearts Brigade redtagcrazy.com blog

Truth be told, I can never get enough of LinQ or Aude and the most recent selection featured by RedTagCrazy proves it!  I picked of one item each from the most recent LinQ and Aude event and they are probably my most favorite to date!  I also, on crazy sale, decided to give Black Hearts Brigade a try – my first in this brand.  One of the things I was most excited about (and yes, it does not take much) was the wonderful and unique color selections in the LinQ and Aude options.

Aude Jay Henley – Powder Blue – Size 1

First of all, I love blues and this is the most beautiful shade of light blue.  Second, the silky  feel and soft sheen of the rayon blend is wonderful. Third, mac makeup wholesale, the overall fit and length is perfect.  And lastly, the ultra long sleeves – gotta love that (well, you do if you have long monkey arms like me!!)

I find blues sometimes hard to wear with denim.  However, this is such a light shade, it blends very well with many different shades of blue.

LinQ Raglan Short Sleeve Cowl Tee – Jade – xs

This is, hands down, one of the richest colors I have come across in the LinQ catalog.  Add to it,cheap mac makeup, that I love blues, of course.  This shirt is quite flattering.  I know that some shoppers have been concerned about it being too low, but it is just right for me, even without a cami underneath.  Like most linQ it is soft and well fitted.

Black Hearts Brigade Pendants Shirred Tank – xs

I really like this top, wholesale mac makeup, but it does have one oddity about the cut.  The straps in front are very wide set, and then they come together in almost a racerback top in the back – making a bra choice a little challenging.  But, since this was a crazy sale item, I will probably opt for a tank of some sort underneath in order to make it work.  As you can see, it is a more loose fitting top – almost tunic like.  I do, of course, love the jewels that decorate the design on the shirt and I will most likely wear it with my Black Mirror James jeans (with the bling on the pockets!).

Seeing as how I am on a temporary shopping ban, this may be my last photo blog for a while…. but, then again, maybe not!!!

Why I Love Red Tag Crazy (A Sappy Moment, courtesy of JP) redtagcrazy.com blog

Wednesday night, just as the BF was getting home from his engineering classes (because I only date men who are smart and gorgeous… you know his butt looks good, mac makeup, you should see his face. ), we started talking on here about what it would be like to try and get RTC onto Daytime Television.

And no, I don’t mean Jerry Springer.

So, I got voted as the one to write up a little blurb about what this company means to me (shocker, right?) and why I think it would be an important addition to any television show.

This, wholesale mac makeup, my friends, is what I’ve come up with:

As I graduated college in December, I was stuck with a situation that was unfathomable; I was lucky enough to have a place to live, but no job. And, somehow, I was undeniably lucky in stumbling onto a website that changed my life.

RedTagCrazy.com

It’s a shopping website, a One-Deal-at-a-Time site where they change their sale to something different every hour. Because, cheap mac makeup, even in a recession, everybody deserves to look good! After a week on this brand new site (they opened on December 1st), I decided that I wanted to be a bigger part of the company. So, I gave up my job hunt and began blogging for them.

The site’s gotten a huge amount of attention as of late, most notably from NBC news affiliates. Melissa and Eric Ingram, the San Marcos, California founders, were even interviewed and featured on a money-saving segment that was syndicated all across the country. And, beyond that, the site is full of true sisterhood, and there is always someone there to help and speak up about the products.

This website would make the perfect feature for a show on recession, and how not every part of it has to be negative. Because, even in the worst of times, there are moments of beauty. And that’s what RedTagCrazy.com offers. Fashion, beauty and friendship… the three things every girl could definitely use a little more of.

So, thoughts? And Melissa, yes it’s true. Please, please don’t cry. I didn’t mean to set off your preggers hormones. Here, here’s something that will make you laugh:

Shipment Review – Sweaters! Yay! redtagcrazy.com blog

This blog will be all about sweaters. I LOVE sweaters, hoodies, mac makeup wholesale, sweatshirts, etc….In case you haven’t noticed, I love comfy, wholesale mac makeup, snuggly clothes! =) Although I do enjoy getting dressed up, my favorite is just a pair of worn in jeans or lounge pants and an awesome hoodie. Lately I have fallen terribly in love with Zensei…it seems this brand fits me quite well, in size and style!

Aude Ryan Fleece Cardigan – Blueberry – Size 2

I love the color of this item. The deep blue shade is very pretty. I have noticed this item runs a bit larger than the other Aude items I have purchased, but its ok because its supposed to be a loose fitting sweater. I also love the pockets. I haven’t had much opportunity to wear this yet, however, its been strangely warm out here. (sorry to all the snowed in back east folks =( …)

Zensei 3/4 Sleeve Zip Up Hoodie – Brown – Size 3

Ok, this one is just awesome. I absolutely love everything Zensei I have ever purchased but this was my first “bamboo” item. Its SOOOO soft. The brown color is light and soft, mac makeup, so relaxing. There is some paisley embroidery on the right hip area. This adds a cute and fun touch. The 3/4 sleeves make it just right for the coming spring months. And of course…pockets. I <3 pockets. =)

Sworn Virgins Mindy Pocket Sweatshirt – Black – Size Small

I love love love this top! I was so excited for it to come. This specific top here is also bamboo and again sooooo soft! I saw this pop up during the Valentine’s Day sale and I was transfixed. I know, I know, I’m easily pleased…but it just has all the features I love. It’s nice and long, super soft, a beautiful neckline, really cool sleeve details and length, a kangaroo pocket, and its bamboo! What more can I ask for? It has my name all over it.

Zensei Zip Up Hoodie with Front Emblem – Brown – Size 3

Yup, more Zensei! This hoodie is so perfect. First of all the Chinese character embroidered on the front means “double happy.” How cute is that!? It is very soft, as per Zensei usual. Its a nice deep brown shade. The sleeves are the perfect length, and the pockets are very unique and cute. Its nice that the edges of the pockets are stitched down, this makes it very easy to slide your hands in an out without upsetting the fit of the garment.

That’s my blog for my recent sweater purchases. I also got some other awesome items and will blog about them soon! Thanks!

Get ready to drool over some cute clothes (and great reviews, wholesale mac makeup!) courtesy of RedTagCrazy’s newest blogger, Crissi!

linQ Stripe Shirred Tank, size small
I was pretty sure I would love this.  After seeing it on everyone else, and hearing about how cute it was, I had to get it.  Got it in gold/gray too but its not here yet.  This thing is so comfortable you can wear without a bra… which obviously I am doing in the picture haha….but will probably wear in public with a strapless bra.  Love linQ, its my favorite brand so far.

Aude Kathy Short Sleeve Tee,mac makeup wholesale, size 1
This is my first Aude purchase.  I dont think I’ve ever been truly excited to buy a plain white t-shirt.  This top is really comfy, mac makeup, fits very nicely and feels great.  I hope to own more Aude in the future!

linQ Long Sleeve Baby Tee, black, size x-small
I figured I could swing an x-small in this, mainly just because I wanted the shirt.  Although its too hot to wear it now, its so cute and can be worn with jeans or sweats.  I thought it would be a nice staple p;iece in the wintertime, layer underneath a hoodie or something!  Once again, cant say enough about linQ… the material is so soft.

Joe’s Jeans The Honey in Eames Wash, size 27
Oh. My. Wow.  Of course I saved the best for last.  I have been waiting it seems like forever to put these on!  Joe’s are absolutely wonderful.  I never even knew that there was denim out there that was so soft and comfy.  I had never even heard of Joe’s before I came to RTC and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get these at such an affordable price!  I was always so convinced that regular jeans were just as good as designer denim, and boy was I wrong.  I obviously have to get these hemmed, but I would not trade these for anything!  (ok i might trade them for the 28’s that are on the way if they fit better)  I was nervous about the 27’s since I am a standard size 6 but these are so close to perfect…. very slightly tight in the waist, but regardless, I am either keeping these or the other size.  I give Joe’s an A+ for awesomeness

and p.s.  Here is a random snapshot of me in the MG “dotty” Tee! I would live in this shirt if  I could.  I love it. LOVE it.  I’m so glad that I got it after stalking it for like 48 hours straight!  In the pic I’m having breakfast in Tulsa a coule of weeks ago….  I would never have thought polka dots could look so good.

and this is me out at a Karaoke Bar in LA 3 weeks ago, hanging with friends, and lookin fabulous in my linQ bare shoulder top in Sapphire.  Wish I had snagged this in emerald too…

With the economy the way it is people are watching their money. So what better way to try new products than getting samples?  Many of these websites that offer free samples want you to subscribe to different sites or buy something.

If you find a site that offers free True Religion jeans, Coach Purses, Iphones, etc.,mac makeup, it is too good to be true. The catch is you must complete 6 different offers which vary. Some offers require a purchase and others require you to get a credit card activated by making a purchase, transferring a balance, or taking a cash advance.  In others words, SCAM!!!!!! I have looked at most of these and have found few that are authentic.

I have listed the top 5 that are 100% free and have awesome things.

1. www.thunderfap.com

2. www.sweetfreestuff.com

3. www.sampleaday.com

4. www.shop4freebies.com

5. www.freesamplesblog.com

These are tried and true.

There is even a link for free t-shirts. They are not the hottest shirts but they are free, what do you expect?

http://www.freeteez.com/

Walmart even has a link specifically for free samples: http://instoresnow.walmart.com/In-Stores-Now-free-samples.aspx

It is hard for me to remember which samples I got on each site but I have used all of them and I am impressed and glad to pass them on.

I have gotten many perfume, food, shampoo, and make up samples along with  coupons for free Victoria secret lotion, cheap mac makeup, EXPRESS panties, meals from local restaurants, organic shopping bags, and I can’t forget to mention about 10 different magazines subscriptions all for free.

After doing a recent search for free samples I noticed that several of the offers that came up had either expired or were no longer valid. Several sites that claimed to have free samples bogged down the computer with ads after ads or schemes that kept you clicking. Are these free samples really free? The truth is, those samples were NOT free and in my opinion NOT worth it. These sites are dedicated to provide you with valid free samples that are simple to obtain from third party companies. The link provided in each blog should take you directly to the company’s page where you can fill out your address information to receive the free sample. Most of these companies look to make sure they have privacy statements so they will not submit your information to third parties.

These blogs are updated every day with a new list of current available free samples, free stuff, savings, coupons, free money, survey sites, deals, wholesale mac makeup, s&h only freebies, free trials, offers and totally free stuff. Everything here is completely free of charge! There is no credit card required ever! Check out these free offers for yourself and eventually you will have loads of free stuff in your mail every day. If you love free samples as much as I do, then you have come to the right place!

How to Become a Runner – Part 1 Amaze Yourself redtagcrazy.com blog

On May 19, 2012, in News, by admin

redtagcrazy.com,cheap mac makeup

current sale alerts blog my account

Nearly all of the conversations I’ve had on Chick Chat, well, with the exception of strange thumbing discussions and other silliness on event days, have been about running. So, for my blogging debut, I’ll focus on running. There are a lot of aspects to running, but first you have to start.

I feel I am qualified to talk about how to become a runner because I have not always been one. In fact, I’m still a little uncomfortable identifying myself as a “runner” but I suppose since I have logged 30+ miles per week for the last few years and run 2 marathons and 2 half marathons, mac makeup, I probably can. Anyway, I did not grow up running, or doing track and field, cross country or anything of that nature. Quite the opposite, up until I was 24 you couldn’t pay me to run. I played goaltender in soccer simply so that I would not have to run and whined and complained like I was being asked to drink poison when consideration for an elite team required me to be able to run 2 miles, goaltender or not. My mom still finds it genuinely astonishing and very amusing that I now run every day and enjoy it.

So, what happened? Basically the first step to becoming a runner for me and for many others is simply to amaze yourself. You have no idea what you are actually capable of, it is incredible. One day I got on a treadmill and ran for a bit and it didn’t feel so bad, I was amazed. I did it again a few days later, and incredibly, it still wasn’t so bad. And thus, I began to jog occasionally.

Sometime later I had regularly began running a few miles outside and one day I felt pretty good towards the end of the run and decided to try to go a bit farther. I stunned myself and went for nearly 8 miles! As a result I became convinced that I could run a 10 mile race, a half marathon or even a marathon.

So, there it is. Give it a shot. Try to run for a bit, nothing too extraordinary, just a distance or time that you think you can complete without feeling like you will totally die. Do that for a while and one day you might discover that you can go a little farther. This is the best part, revel in your amazingness, even if it is a small distance, it is huge for you! Treat yourself to something nice on RTC,wholesale mac makeup, brag to your friends, and annoy the crap out of your significant other. Then do it again. You’ll be amazed what you can do the next time. You might even get addicted.

I still amaze myself, I have no idea what I might be capable of (currently I am triathlon training), but I feel like the sky is the limit. And that is what keeps me going!

I’m Officially Obsessed With Bamboo! redtagcrazy.com blog

On May 19, 2012, in News, by admin

All of these purchases were my first and hopefully NOT my last Zensei purchases…

Zensei 3/4 Sleeve Scoop Neck Brown, wholesale mac makeup, 3

So I have learned something very interesting about bamboo…It is not only an environmentally friendly fabric it is also the softest material I have ever felt in a t-shirt or tank top.

My suggestions for something that says 100% Bamboo, size up.  Without some spandex there is no room for stretch and the bamboo definitely is not a stretchy material on its own.  So unless you like your shirts super tight I would recommend sizing up one size to have the full comfortable effect of this shirt.

I also will add that I was surprised at how low cut the shirt was. It might also seem low cut just because I like my shirts a little longer so I might just be pulling down on the shirt to feel more comfortable….

Zensei Drawstring Pant with Back Patch Brown, 4

I think I should have gone with a size smaller.  These pants are really comfortable but are a little big for me in the waist.  Even though it’s a drawstring pant I can’t make them tight enough for them not to fall down after a couple seconds.  Another thing about these pants is that they are SUPER long! I’m 5’4” so anyone interested in these pants should know they will be extra long on you too. BUT nothing a sewing machine can’t fix

By the way, I couldn’t figure out a way to get better pictures of these lounge pants…lol this was the best I could do…

Zensei 100% Bamboo Cami Brown,mac makeup, 3

I would give the same suggestion as I did for the ¾ sleeve scoop neck top above, mac makeup wholesale, size up.  Personally I don’t like it when I feel constricted in my shirts so if they had a bigger size I would definitely just returned this to get a bigger size. Either way, I love this shirt it is so soft and comfortable!

This cami felt a little low cut as well…but then again like I said before it might just be that I am pulling down the shirt so it feels a little longer…not exactly sure…

In conclusion…Buy anything made out of bamboo and size up it is fully made out of bamboo.

I hope this helps someone out : )

Are You A Collector redtagcrazy.com blog

On May 19, 2012, in News, by admin

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

Have you ever thought about all the different kinds of things people collect? Have you ever had to endure a viewing of Aunt Millie’s precious chipped china collection (along with the lengthy explanation of how Great Aunt so and so carried a tea cup across the ocean single handedly… through a hurricane… while fighting influenza…in her bare feet…)?

What motivates us to begin and continue a collection? Why does one subject or item call to us? Are we just obsessed with stuff? Or is there a deeper reason? Is collecting objects, as English Professor Kim Herzinger says, a way to “relieve a basic sense of incompletion brought on by unfulfilled childhood needs”? Say what??

Truthfully, mac makeup, I think the real reasons are rather simple; such as stress reduction and relaxation, a basic interest in a topic, knowledge and learning, nostalgia, competitive challenge, profit or investment, a special bond with the collection, personal pleasure, social interaction with other collectors, recognition by other collectors or non collectors, or simply just the desire to possess.

And while our collections are special to us, they may seem to others surprising, juvenile, cheap mac makeup, or dare I say, strange.

To help me illustrate just how vast and varied the things are that we love, I asked friends and family to share with me the collections closest to their hearts. Here is a compiled list for you to peruse…

Bottle caps, Barbies, Victorian Dolls, mac makeup wholesale, Books, Pokemon Cards, Mario Cards, Annie Memorabilia, Yu-Gi-Oh Cards, Star Wars Memorabilia, Nutcracker Memorabilia, Old Books, First Edition Books, State Spoons, Children’s Books – Nursery Rhymes and Award Literature, Pocket Knives, Guns, Movies, Watches, Flip Flops, Snow Globes, Pressed Coins, Old Crock Pots, Stamps, Fairies, Refrigerator Magnets from Visited Cities, Baseball Caps, Skeletons from Mexico, Water Pitchers, Edwardian Lawn Dresses, Antique St. Louis Crystal with Gold Etching, Ladybug Things, Spoons, Santas, Elvis Memorabilia, Foreign Currency – Coin and Paper Money, Hats and Patches from Law Enforcement Agencies, Volkswagen Memorabilia, Shot Glasses, Bookmarks With Neat Sayings, Hats, Chinese Hats, Limoge Boxes, Rocks, Teddy Bears, Sea Glass, 8-Track Tapes, Old Tonka Trucks, Eighties Movies, Sneakers, Family Pictures, Elephants, Marionettes, Finger Puppets, Napkins from Restaurants, Antiques, Stuffed Monkeys from Fairs, Frogs, Precious Moments Figurines, Antique Tea Cups and Saucers, Bells, Glass Animals, Cars, Disney Movies, Angels, Stickers, Pigs, Apples, Cookie Jars, Salt & Pepper Shakers, Jewelry Boxes, Picture Frames, Odd Lamps, Old Cameras, Turntables,

Dust, and Bills.

By now you are no doubt wondering, what is the point of this blog?! Well, I will tell you.

Although still in the beginning stages, it occurred to me that my growing array of Designer Denim has surpassed the role of mere items in my wardrobe. They have become something, oh, so much more to me. I have a special bond with them. Putting on a beautiful pair of jeans relaxes me. I have an interest in the topic of all things denim. I love learning about and becoming more knowledgeable about denim. It gives me personal pleasure to slide on a lovely pair of jeans each morning. I get a thrill out of the competitive challenge in finding them at a price affordable for me. I enjoy social interaction with other collectors and the recognition from fellow collectors and non-collectors (thank you CC girls!). When I see a beautiful pair of denim, I have the desire to possess them. And yes, they do give me a “sense of completion”, even though I seriously doubt I had very many (if any) unfulfilled childhood needs!

Ok – maybe this blog has been one huge justification to validate my growing desire for designer denim. And I can actually live with that. But, as my final justification I will leave you with this thought.

Teddy Bear collecting has a loyal following from Moms to busy professionals, according to author Patricia Twitchell. Even I briefly considered collecting teddy bears after a boyfriend gave me one as a gift (but, it didn’t work out so I ditched the idea… and the bear).

Therefore, I will give you the 8 reasons Ms. Twitchell believes people desire to collect Teddy Bears – although, I have made a few “key” changes by substituting the word “Teddy Bear” for something infinitely more Dear.

1. (Denim) satisfies the soul.

2. People who collect them had a (Paige) or (Joe’s) who encouraged them.

3. People like the feeling (Denim) gives them.

4. (Jeans) are great conversation pieces.

5. Most everyone loves cuddly (Denim).

6. (Denim) is a good investment.

7. (Jeans) make great listeners. (Alright, this may be reaching – but come on, how much of a better listener could a stuffed bear be?)

8. Its fun!

Enough said?

HAPPY DENIM SHOPPING

Here is a look at my blossoming denim collection;

Minus my new Luckys which were out being hemmed.

(And my best bud in the upper left hand corner, who wanted to be in the picture!)

Oh and, additions from Denim Day on the way :

Book Review Eye Candy redtagcrazy.com blog

On May 19, 2012, in News, by admin

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

Eye Candy: 55 easy makeup looks for glam lids & luscious lashes (Linda Mason) is a how-to book designed to get you to step out of your basic comforts of monotonous makeup and give you some new ideas to play with. But how did the book stack up?

For $10 on Amazon, it’s not the worst thing I’ve ever picked up. If you tend to do the same thing with your eyes every day and do not consider yourself very advanced when it comes to applying makeup, I’d say give it a shot. The reviews on Amazon are not very favorable, but I think that there are great benefits to this book for the right audience.

Pros:

Before getting into the different looks, the great thing is that the author outlines the different kinds of makeup, different brushes, mac makeup, and different techniques you need in order to master some of the looks that are to follow. Great stuff for eye makeup 101. The looks are divided up into several categories, making it easy to find the particular style you want. Categories include: everyday, flirtatious, funky, cheap mac makeup, glamorous, and inspired. The inspired section includes iconic looks from famous figures like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and Sophie Loren to name a few. The everyday section. I like this section in particular, because when I’m in a rush in the morning, I can easily fall into a routine of one color eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara if I remember. There are 11 looks to get you out of that rut, but still keep it natural Ease of instructions. The steps are easy to follow, straight-forward, and application is not very difficult to follow. We’re not painting a Picasso here ladies, just your face… don’t worry.

Cons:

Some of the makeup looks are very out there, and I’m not sure how relevant some of them would be. The models. They’re all young girls – look to be teenagers. I guess this doesn’t matter that much, but it makes me feel that I may not be the right audience. Illustrations. While the close-ups of the looks are great, and the sketches with point by number are also helpful, there are no pictures of the girls with their eyes closed so you can see exactly what is going on with the lid. That’s a crucial step that is missing, in my opinion. You could probably just Google eye makeup how-tos and get them for free online, with perhaps better instruction.

So, is it worth it? Sure, I think it’s a nice book to keep on my shelf for handy reference. I suppose another fantastic option would be to run a search and look up various makeup how-tos online, and create your own book or portfolio for handy reference. And,wholesale mac makeup, if you look up these instructions from your favorite makeup brand, they’ll tell you exactly what colors you need to get the look. That could be a pro or a con, depending on the range of your collection.

Denim Day Play-by-Play Amy’s Part One redtagcrazy.com blog

And that is not a reference to the military term.

March 29, 2009

6:20am CST

You know what I’m talking about, Denim Day. It’s Spring Break here at Tulane University in New Orleans and lucky for me, my RA duties called me back to school for the second half of the break. It’s exactly 6:26 AM and I am sitting at the front desk of my dorm waiting for the minutes to go by, counting down to the start of D-Day. I don’t know how this worked out, because I chose to remain on campus for the second half of the break in August, long before I knew anything about online sample sales, before RTC had even open its doors. On top of that, I chose today’s 6am-12pm desk shift before D-Day had been announced.

Maybe I’m crazy (okay, there’s no doubt about it, who am I kidding), but this is such a momentous day. The first and last (so far) time I bought jeans on RTC was the Rich & Skinny Sweet Jeans in Trippin Wash. It was a huge crush at first sight, and I had to have it, even though I hadn’t really figured out my size yet. I was so excited to get the pair, but it wasn’t meant to be. The jeans were too tight, but I couldn’t bear to part with them, so I didn’t send them back. Instead, I tried to tell myself that I’d give them away as a nice present to a friend, but really I’m going to keep them. They are a reminder of my error, and well, what if I do lose some weight? Who am I kidding? I love food, and food loves me. Those jeans are just too pretty to give up.

6:43am CST

I’ve decided to take the plunge again today. D-Day is too special to pass up. I get paid every other Friday. It’s too bad that today is not payday. I meant to save up for D-Day, but the auto-ship time was closing in (no one can blame me for that purchase), but then a few other things came up yesterday. There was a Zlush fitted tee with ruching on the sides. It was less than $10 (alright, $10 + change with 99 cent shipping), but I kept hitting the BUY IT button and the page would not load. Was that a sign? Oh well, there were plenty left in the size and color that I wanted.

Then a new item came up, the most adorable Aude Elizabeth Cami. What with the previous buying fiasco, I didn’t hit the BUY IT button this time. Of course something else had to pop up to force me to cave in, the LinQ Short Sleeve Bare Shoulder Top. I don’t remember why, but I had passed it up once before and I didn’t want to risk doing that again.

My mother gave me some money before I left home. I’m sure she meant for it to last me through the rest of the semester, or at least a month, but I made sure to go to the bank yesterday and make a deposit since “saving up for D-Day” did not work out as planned.

7:23am CST

It had been my intention to pass the time away before the onset of D-Day by watching a movie, or some Asian tv-series drama (I just finished a Hong Kong drama called Heart of Greed II and was going to start on another one called Precious and Extraordinary). Not surprisingly I find myself too giddy for D-Day to concentrate on something like that. So to compensate, I’m blogging out my excitement, being a creepy lurker on the Chick Chat (it’s weird to me that my comments just barely outnumber my visits, but this site is always up so I hardly log out), getting completely caught up on the blogs, and trying out some of Aase’s suggestions. I have next to no exposure to non-mainstream music (the radio stations in my car are set to whoever plays the latest hits, mainstream rock/alternative, and a local New Orleans station. I do have fairly eclectic tastes when it comes to music, but don’t ask me any questions. I like most music that I hear, but I will almost never be able to identify the artist, album, or title, let alone recite lyrics. There aren’t too many songs that I can sing along to (again, don’t ask which ones those are because I don’t know),mac makeup, but I can hum along because that’s usually all I’m good for. I’m not completely useless, I promise. I do recognize when I’ve heard a song before. For instance, I am currently listening to various songs by Goldfrapp. I’ve never heard of them before, but I’ve totally heard Strict Machine before.

J

7:55am CST

I can’t believe it, but I’m actually talking on the CC.

8:17am CST

Denim Day kicks off with the Lucky Brand Jeans Sweet n Low Long Pant. Being able to see a pair on Jaime’s butt when the jeans first go up is really cool. No internet searching or waiting for a blog to go up with pictures is a major plus. These jeans look really great. In a medium wash, you can make them into an anytime of day go-to jean. Make sure you size down on these. The only thing you’d deliberate is whether to hem them to wear with flats or heels.

8:39am CST

A few people have mentioned that they are limited to only spending RTCash today. I should really start blogging more. I only have 3 up right now (if this D-Day blog goes up, then it’ll be more of course).

I haven’t sent anything I’ve bought back. Even if they aren’t perfect, I love them all. I already mentioned the R&S jeans I bought. The Aude Lolita Burnout Polo is a bit tight (especially the arms), but I figured I’d just sleep in it to stretch it out. It’s not really working, but it’s super soft and comfy, so I’ll just keep wearing it to sleep.

The LinQ Diamond Quilted Cami was unexpectedly big since all my previous LinQ purchases had been so TTS (skirts I bought a size down after hearing what others had to say). The material is uber stretchy and normally I wouldn’t mind, but the straps were too long and the cami wouldn’t cover my bra. I think I have something against returning items I’ve bought, but I washed the cami and stuck in the dryer on delicate and it came out much improved.

9:05am CST

Wow, the second pair of denim to go up is already gone. It was such a crazy sale, cheap mac makeup, only $35 for the Adriano Goldschmeid (AG) Legend Flares.

Then the cutest pair of DVB by Victoria Beckam “Audrey” Pink Signature Jeans came up. I wish I could get them, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing them. I’m 5′2, so these cropped jeans would be a skinny, cigarette on me. I’ve got a big booty so I try to not call attention to it (plus I usually have major gaping-at-the-waist issues), but I love these jeans. The black hardware is gorgeously classy!

9:26am CST

I’m listening to San Diego’s Star 94.1 radio station. Jeff and Jer are talking about Gown Town, which is an amazing idea (I moved and changed high schools senior year so I didn’t want to go to prom, but if I had,mac makeup wholesale, I would totally donate). Women (and men) donating prom dresses are describing them over the radio. So now, I’m just waiting to hear Jaime’s radio debut, as she was interviewed about RTC. (Gown Town is wonderful, but it’s 9:35am and I want to hear JP’s lovely voice)

9:51am CST

Oh no! Jaime just said that the radio station said they ran out of time. I know they were talking up a really great cause, but I only listened for RTC and Jaime. It’s okay, the time passed by quickly and the next item will come up soon.

10:28am CST

A pair of Joe’s Jeans The Socialite went up, and all hell broke loose, jk. I didn’t realize it at first, but the page needed refreshing a few times or I got behind on the CC. Then a sizing chart went up. It was really hard to keep up with CC because everybody was trying to figure out her size in these jeans before the next girl could do the same. 14 pairs have already been snatched up. I’m holding out for a pair of Joe’s myself. Question is, do I get The Honey to fit my booty, or will The Provocateur have minimal gape-age and not require hemming?

I asked on CC and it seems like I’m going to be glued to my Macbook all day. 3 people told me to go with The Honey because of no gaping + it hems well. 1 person told me that they had no trouble with gaping in The Provocateur. What if I need a nap? My desk shift ends at noon, but my alarm went off at 5:30 this morning and my desk shift before had ended at midnight. Meh…what’s a little bit of sacrifice on my part for the sake of RTC?

11:04am CST

I had just checked to see what sizes were left in the Joe’s Socialite (forgot to scroll down), everything said “gone!”
I freaked out a little thinking I’d missed the new/next item and hit refresh. There were still 2 minutes left. Of course, I wouldn’t have really missed the next item, unless it sold out that quickly.

Scratch that, the next item is the pair that’s up now is the AG Jeans Dakota Medium Wash and at a crazy sale price of $35, they were gone in no time.

After the AG comes the Aristocrat Denim Windsor Baltic Jeans. This bootcut jean looks great on Jaime. She knows it too, because she’s taking a pair home with her. Many of the other RTCrazies agree because 14 pairs were bought already in like 10 minutes!

One of my friends walked by the front desk and I just had to share with her my excitement for Denim Day. I’ve have been sitting at this desk for over 5 hours, and not once did I watch any Hong Kong drama. I was that excited for today. She asked if I’d bought anything yet: nope. She was impressed, but she still thinks I’m crazy. I had 10 hours worth of desk shifts yesterday, and all I did was watch Hong Kong tv-series.

Here’s a little tidbit about me. My obsessions or addictions, whatever you want to call them, come in waves. That’s the best way that I can describe them. I really get into a certain thing for a while. It might be for a couple weeks or a couple months, but then I cool down. Usually, it’s something I already enjoy doing, like reading fantasy, reading romance (notice that I split up the two genres), or shopping. I get into overdrive mode where I do an extra lot of it in a short period of time.

Sometimes I discover something new, like going to coffee shops to study. I’d been to coffee shops before, usually not for coffee and never for studying. Then I tried it, and for the majority of one semester that was my go-to setting if I needed to get work done. Maybe it was because I had just gotten my driver’s license and a car (I think the car came a couple days before, but I was also 20 years old), so being able to drive anywhere was a novelty to me. Whatever the reason, every time I wanted to go somewhere do some reading or study for a test, a coffee shop was the place I first thought of.
